What We Treat

Hand:

We assess, diagnose and treat hand problems including osteoarthritis of the hand, injuries from all sports including climbing, cricket, netball, rugby and martial arts, from playing a musical instrument, and problems from overuse or recurring pain.

We treat patients recovering from surgery to the hand, and have excellent links with consultant hand surgeons within Oxfordshire and beyond.

Wrist:

Do you have pain or discomfort in your wrist when you grip, use a computer or following a sporting injury? We can isolate the problem and treat with an individual plan to regain your optimal function and mobility. 

Elbow:
Should you have an elbow problem which is affecting your enjoyment of your hobbies, or pain which will not go away we can diagnose the cause and treat with exercises, splints or supports and advise you on activity modification. 

Shoulder:  We can assess and treat shoulder pain, whether it be due to an impingement, frozen shoulder or overuse. If you are unsure of the cause of your problem please come and see us for an in depth and individual assessment.

Nerve problems: 

If you have pins and needles, a tingling or loss of feeling in your hand or arm, we can assess and diagnose the cause of this nerve problem, giving you relevant exercises and management to reduce the problem. We recognise some problems require further investigation, and due to our close links with consultants we can refer you onwards should this be necessary.
