Our approach focuses on advanced physiotherapy techniques, bespoke orthosis fabrication and educational resources to support our clients in achieving optimal hand and upper limb health.
At Oxford Hand Therapy, our experienced team of professionals is dedicated to enhancing your overall well-being. Whether you require treatment for hand and upper limb injuries or guidance on rehabilitation exercises, we are here to support you in your journey towards improved mobility and physical well-being
When you come to see us, we’ll start by talking with you about your problem and how it affects your day-to-day activities, work, and hobbies. We’ll also ask about your general health, any medications you're taking, and any previous investigations or treatments you may have had.
Once we have a clear understanding of your situation, we’ll assess things like your movement and strength to help identify the underlying issue.
After the assessment, we’ll explain our findings and work with you to develop a personalised management plan. This plan will be something you feel confident about following and will include clear explanations so you understand the purpose behind each part of the programme.
This first session is usually an hour long, and if further sessions are needed we can book these with you, choosing from between 30 minutes and 45 minutes.
We currently have two practice locations;
1: The Wellness Clinic in Watlington, which has step free access (Wednesday and Thursday).
2: The Gallery Climbing Centre, Oxford. This is stair access only so please do consider this when booking your appointment. (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday). Both sites have ample parking available for clients.
